Dr. Carlos A. Suarez MD received his medical degree at the prestigious Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia ( LIMA - PERU )
and was licensed in Peru in 2000 by the Peruvian College of Physicians.
Later he attended East Tennessee State University in Kingsport where
he completed his Family Medicine Residency program in 2006. To supplement his alternative medicine education, Dr. Suarez went to the
prestigious Helms Medical Institute ( California ) for Medical Acupuncture Training, Wake Forest University for Nutrition and Herbal
Medicine, University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil for Nutrition, the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral therapy and the American
Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is also a Traditional Reiki practitioner.
Dr. Suarez joined North Bend Medical Center at NBMC
Bandon in December 2006.
Bandon is located in the Southern Oregon coast where the Coquille River meets the Pacific Ocean.
It is 90 miles north of the California border, about a 90 minute drive to Interstate 5 at Roseburg, five hours by car from Portland
and about nine hours from San Francisco.
North Bend Medical Center is a 50-physician multispecialty group practice clinic based in
Coos Bay, Oregon.
